Adapted from the booklet "Where to Ride", a joint project by Parks and Leisure, Victoria and Tread Lightly! Australia.

General:

Don't let this page scare you. I believe that sensible, supervised dirt bike riding can be less dangerous than most contact sports. However I must emphasise to always supervise children monitor their speed and abilities. We always have one adult in the lead and one at the rear.

On our way to any new place we always take note of the nearest hospital.

Be sure that either your ambulance cover is up to date or your family has health insurance that includes suitable ambulance cover.

Current first aid knowledge is also very important.

Emergency Items:

  • Space blanket.
  • Drinking water.
