Glendon Station is a 1600 acre working cattle property and 4WD park that lies 38 kilometres west of Warwick.
(If heading down from Brisbane) From Brisbane take the Cunningham Highway south-west out of town. Two and a half hours easy drive past Ipswich, through Warwick and then turn left at the large and very easy to see Glendon Station sign.
Camping grounds Our caravan had an additional five beds ( 2 x Bunks and 1 single) in a permanent annex. An internal shower and toilet were being built. Perfect for extended families and groups. We found the prices very reasonable and each campsite spread out enough to ensure privacy. Next time we go we plan to hire two caravans, so that the teenagers can do their thing in their own caravan.
Bikes and quads are welcome. There is a variety of tracks, but nothing too challenging for the novice rider whilst still offering plenty for the more experienced. On our weekend we saw riders ranging from a quad carrying two small dogs in a special basket through to racers practising for their next enduro meet.
4WDs are also welcome with again a large variety of tracks.
